21st Century House Music

Following a hugely successful 3rd anniversary dance party at Plan B in London (on saturday 23rd Feb 08), up and coming house music DJs Jerry Frempong and Ian Morbey will be soon launching their new budding record label in the summer of 2008. With house music productions currently being put together by the duo, this space most definitely needs to be watched.

Ian Morbey is currently producing new track using Ableton Live, a system that is used for the laptop. It’s such a great tool that you can use in the studio, home or even a club set. Many of the worlds top house music DJs and producers live by the now industry standard Ableton Live software. Go to http://www.myspace.com/imorbey and check out Ian Morbey’s house music concoctions.

House music residents Jerry Frempong & Ian Morbey were supported by Sankeys (Manchester’s top deep house and techno club) Alex McCulloch and Danny Daw. Both of whom rocked the club with their sets playing the most up front deep underground house music. The crowd were certainly entertained by all the DJs and acts, it most certainly seems that the house music scene in London is still positive and lively.
